Galway County Climate Action Unit in partnership with GRETB organised a FREE online Local Climate Action Course for community and voluntary groups. This free online 4-week course covered topics on Biodiversity, Energy, Food & Waste, Recycling and Transport. We also covered Galway County Council’s Climate Action Fund and gave guidance on how to apply and what to apply for. The Climate Action Fund opened on October 21st 2025 and will close on December 16th 2025.
The course started on Wednesday, 8th October from 7.30pm – 9pm and took place every Wednesday for 4 weeks.
