Disposal of farm plastic waste.
The Waste Management (Farm Plastics) Regulations, 2001 states that producers and suppliers of certain farm plastics must do the following:
- To operate a deposit and refund scheme.
- To collect waste farm plastics
- To take steps for the recovery of the farm plastic waste
- To register with Galway County Council and provide information.
- To provide information to purchaser
