Galway County Council currently has 2 Creative Health & Wellbeing Projects in place. These are both run in collaboration with Galway City Council.
Music in the Afternoons is a series of concerts performed in Nursing Homes across Galway City and County. This is the third year of this project, which is delivered in partnership with Galway Music Residency. This year we are focusing on the Connemara region including visits to Inis Mór featuring local singer songwriter, Pádraig Jack.
Mending HeArts is a cardiovascular arts and health programme run in partnership with Croí and Saolta Arts. It consists of a number of arts programmes in both acute and community settings for people living with cardiovascular disease and stroke, as well as their families and carers.
