Social housing assessment

Approved housing applicants are periodically reassessed

Local authorities in Ireland reassess existing social housing applicants every year. They check if applicants still meet income and housing need criteria. Households must respond to remain on the waiting list. Updated data is sent to the Department of Housing. This ensures support is directed to those with current housing needs.
