Outdoor Recreational Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS)

ORIS funds the development, maintenance, and promotion of outdoor recreational infrastructure in rural Ireland, supporting walking, cycling, and kayaking to enhance healthy lifestyles and boost local tourism.

Parking bye laws

Galway County Council adopted Parking Places Bye-Laws, Car Park Bye-Laws and Taxi Bye-Laws to regulate and manage traffic and parking in 5 towns in the County: Tuam, Loughrea, Clifden (Cleggan), Athenry,
and Portumna (Marina).

Part 8 Schemes

Part 8 refers to a planning process used when a Local Authority (like a County or City Council) wants to carry out its own development projects.

Part V exemption
