The Galway County Council Noise Action Plan 2024 - 2028 covers road transport noise from major roads in county Galway. Any road with traffic volumes of more than 3 million vehicles per year is defined as a major road for the purposes of this noise action plan, including local and regional roads.
PPNs are new structures for public engagement and participation in Local Government, enabling community groups to have a say on issues that concern them.
