Loughrea Projects

Loughrea Town Hall

As part of the wider implementation of the Loughrea Regeneration Strategy, the Regeneration Team has secured €3.6 million in funding through the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund to renovate and repurpose the Loughrea Town Hall. This project will restore the historic building in the heart of the town and transform it into a modern community enterprise hub and multi-purpose performance space.

This investment forms a key element of Loughrea’s regeneration efforts, supporting sustainable economic and social development while preserving the town’s architectural heritage.
