The use of unauthorised signs, unauthorised caravans or vehicles for advertising the sale of goods or the provision of services on public roads is prohibited.
The Council and the Gardaí are empowered to remove these structures and serve a notice on the owner stating where the structure may be recovered within one month. A local authority is entitled to recover expenses incurred in preventing and removing obstructions on a public road under its management.
