Galway County Council, on behalf of the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC), invites applications for funding from not-for-profit community or voluntary groups within the Galway County administrative area under the Local Enhancement Programme 2026. The Local Enhancement Programme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development & the Gaeltacht and administered by the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) in each local authority area.
Galway County Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) will administer Capital Funding of up to €213,600 to support groups to carry out necessary repairs and improvements to their facilities, and to purchase equipment for community use.

The Closing Date for receipt of completed applications is 12 noon on Monday 23rd February 2026.
