Galway County Council sets out how it deals with anti-social behaviour in its Anti-Social Behaviour Strategy. In dealing with complaints relating to anti-socail behaviour, we have close contact with An Garda Siochana and other statutory bodies, including the HSE.

Galway County Council is responsible for the operation of the Control of Horses, 1996 legislation for County Galway.

Local authority rents are based on a system called differential rent. This means that the rent is based on your ability to pay, so if your income is low, your rent will be low; and if your income increases, so will your rent.

Galway County Council Tenants can now apply for permission to rent a room to a student.
