Tuam Town Hall Refurbishment

As part of the ongoing implementation of the Tuam Regeneration Masterplan, Galway County Council Regeneration Team has secured €3.6 million in funding through the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund to refurbish the historic Town Hall. The project focuses on restoring this landmark building at the centre of the town and repurposing it as a modern community enterprise hub.

A suite of conservation measures will be undertaken over the course of the construction programme to deliver flexible workspaces designed to support local enterprise, innovation, and community use. The project aims to re-establish the Town Hall as a focal point for civic and economic activity in Tuam.

This investment represents a key step in the broader regeneration strategy for the town, supporting sustainable development while preserving Tuam’s architectural and cultural heritage.
