Galway County Council, in partnership with Galway Local Sports Partnership, is developing a new Local Sports and Physical Activity Plan and wants to hear from you.
Galway County Council has confirmed that a homecoming event for the Galway senior hurlers will take place at The Fairgreen, Ballinasloe, on Monday (20 July) following their All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final loss to Limerick at Croke Park. The Fairgreen will be opened to the public from 2pm, with the team expected later in the afternoon.
The Ahascragh Streetscape Enhancement Scheme offers grant funding to support property improvements that enhance the village’s visual appearance, encouraging community participation to revitalise the local streetscape.
