Local Enterprise Week 2026 reflects LEO Galway’s commitment to fostering innovation, upskilling business owners, and supporting sustainable growth throughout the county. With events spanning technology, leadership, design, financial management and community celebration, the programme offers something for every stage of the business journey.

Whether you're an entrepreneur, a growing SME, a creative professional or simply curious about the world of enterprise, this year’s Local Enterprise Week promises a dynamic and engaging celebration of Galway’s business community.

Local Enterprise Week 2026 kicks off on Monday, 2nd March with a Lunch & Learn in Tuam. The LEO will also be offering a half-day online session on Cybersecurity & GDPR, giving essential guidance for businesses navigating data protection and digital safety. Throughout the day, visitors can also explore the work of local crafters and food producers at LEO Galway’s special pop- up Food and

 Craft Fair celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge and Local Enterprise Week. This fair will continue until Wednesday the 4th of March. 

On Tuesday, 3rd March, the focus turns to the modern workplace and financial resilience, with sessions on AI Works for Ireland, Mind the Gap: Multi‑Generational Workplace, and Managing Cashflow.

Midweek, on Wednesday, 4th March, LEO Galway dives deeper into the digital transformation journey with AI Tools for Business and AI Forward for SMEs. A special Lunch & Learn event takes place in Ballinasloe, supporting enterprise activity across the county.

Thursday, 5th March brings a mix of practical skills and creative collaboration. The LEAN First session helps businesses streamline operations, while Design Mingle offers an interactive space for networking. A Lunch & Learn in Clifden supports businesses in Connemara, and the day concludes with Selling @ Scale for SMEs, perfect for companies looking to grow their market reach.

The week wraps up on Friday, 6th March, featuring Digital Futures: LEO x Action Tuam, a forward‑thinking event exploring digital growth opportunities for local businesses. Later that day, LEO Galway partners with Network Galway to celebrate International Women’s Day, honouring the achievements and entrepreneurial spirit of women across the region.
