*Help shape the future of outdoor recreation in County Galway*
Galway County Council is inviting the public to have their say on the county’s first Outdoor Recreation Strategy.
A series of consultation workshops will take place across the county during August, giving communities, outdoor groups, landowners and anyone with an interest in activities such as walking, cycling, mountain biking and water sports an opportunity to share their views.
Your feedback will help identify priorities for improving and developing outdoor amenities across County Galway over the next five years.

- Oughterard Courthouse - Monday 10 August, 7pm
- Athenry Community Hall - Tuesday 11 August, 2pm-4pm
- Harmony Hall, Tuam - Tuesday 11 August, 7pm
- Ballinasloe Family and Community Resource Centre - Wednesday 12 August, 2pm-4pm
- Temperance Hall, Loughrea - Wednesday 12 August, 7pm
Everyone with an interest in the outdoors is encouraged to attend and help shape the future of recreation in Galway.
Following the in-person public consultation events, an online survey will be available on Galway.ie from Monday 17 August to Monday 31 August. The survey will give people who are unable to attend the consultations an opportunity to share their views and help shape the development of the strategy.
