What is a Tovertafel?
Tovertafel is an award-winning serious games system that projects playful and interactive light animations on existing flat surfaces, like a table.
The Tovertafel is designed to foster a more caring and inclusive environment for people living with dementia, adults with an intellectual disability and children with additional support needs. The interactive games fascinate and connect people, as well as promote movement and cognitive exercise.
Where can I access it and how can I book?
There are Tovertafels in An Cheathrú Rua and Ballybane Libraries. The table caters for all age groups and can be used as a tabletop session, or the users can sit or lie on the ground in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere.
