Caravan and Camping Licences
We are responsible for the issuing and control of licences for caravan and camping facilities, under the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948.
Licences are issued annually in respect of sites operating as Caravan and Camp Sites in the County.
Enforcement
Applications received are examined by the Health Services Executive, Galway Fire Services and the Environment Section of the Council to ensure that the sites are of the required standard.
