Galway Sports Partnership 10k
Galway Sports Partnership 10k. On Sunday the 22nd of April 2012, Galway Sports Partnership will host a 10k run/walk in Labane, Ardrahan, Co. Galway. The event will start at 1pm and the route will start and finish in the village of Labane. The route will take participants through the townlands of Ballymaquiff, Shessy, Polldonoghue, Lydacan and Pollyataggly, a relatively flat course with gradients varying from 17mtrs at the lowest to 36mtrs at the highest. Prize categories will include 1st 2nd and 3rd, male and female, 1st over 40, 50 and 60 for male and female, 1st local male and female. There will also be sport prizes for Meet & Train/ Fit4 Life groups. Intending participants can register for the event on-line at www.runireland.com The first 200 entries on line will receive a specially designed event t-shirt. On-line entry fee is €15. Entries will also be taken on the day of the event with an entry fee of €20. We invite runners and walkers to take part and make this a most enjoyable and successful day. Proceeds will aid the Labane Playground project. Predator Children’s Aquathon Series

Predator Aquathon Series
This is a Triathlon Ireland Event The Predator Aquathon Series is open to Children from ages 8 to 16 and consists of four aquathon events taking place on the following dates: 28th April – Kilcornan, Clarinbridge 13th May – Athlone Sports Centre 19th May – Loughrea Lake 17th June – NUI Galway Triathlon Ireland sanctioned events €5 entry or €18 for full series Individual winners and overall race series winners.
