Dangerous Structures and Places
The Council is empowered to deal with places or structures which pose a danger to the public or which pose or are likely to pose danger to any person or property. A Notice may be served on the owner of such places/structures requiring works to be carried out. If necessary, the Council can also carry out the works itself. Dangerous Structures/Places can be acquired by Compulsory Purchase Order.
