Invitation to Launch of Social Inclusion Week and Link2BActive Initiative
You are invited to the launch of County Galway’s Social Inclusion Week & Link2BActive Initiative by the Mayor of the County of Galway, Cllr. Jimmy McClearn on Monday 18th October 2010 at 12.45pm in County Hall, Galway County Council, Prospect Hill, Galway. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome to attend. The 17th – 22nd October has been designated Social Inclusion Week in Ireland and each local authority has been asked to get involved. The week will be used to highlight social inclusion initiatives that are taking place locally and to highlight poverty and social exclusion issues both locally and nationally. Over 55 events are taking place around the County to celebrate Social Inclusion Week. The Social Inclusion Unit of the Council have coordinated these events in a brochure and will be using this to promote the week.
