The above sections of Galway County Council will be relocating from County Hall to the Centrepoint building in the Liosban Business Park in January 2008. These services will be fully operational in Liosban from Monday 7th January.

Galway National Roads Design Office, in conjunction with Galway County Council, Mayo County Council and the National Roads Authority, would welcome your comments in relation to the proposed route corridors for the N17 Tuam to Claremorris Road Scheme.

M17 Galway to Tuam
This site provides information on the M17 Galway (Rathmorrissy) to Tuam scheme. The proposed motorway is 25.5 km long and will stretch from Rathmorrissy in the South to the existing N17 Galway to Tuam road in the North where it will join the proposed Tuam Bypass. There will be 28 new structures including overbridges, underbridges, river bridges across the Abbert and Grange Rivers, culverts and farm accommodation structures. A motorway service area is also proposed as part of the scheme.

From May 28th to June 25, an information roadshow for people starting their own business will be touring the major towns in County Galway in conjunction with Chambers of Commerce, Enterprise Ireland and the Galway County and City Enterprise Board.
